Handled With Care Childcare is a nurturing early learning center located in Erie, Pennsylvania, dedicated to helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and inclusive environment. We provide high-quality care and education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children through hands-on, play-based learning.

Keystone STARS (Standards, Training, Assistance, and Resources)

is Pennsylvania's quality rating system for early childhood education programs, with four levels (STAR 1 to STAR 4). The program's performance standards are based on four key areas: staff education, learning environment, leadership/management, and family/community partnerships. Programs must meet specific criteria in each of these areas to earn a quality rating, with higher stars representing higher quality, and STAR 4 representing the highest standard.

STAR 3 and 4: These levels represent the highest quality, with STAR 4 indicating that the program meets the highest standards across all criteria.
